Hey everybody,

   Thanks for the awesome responses to the call for artists!  I’ve gotten a lot of really promising leads and am very excited about the prospect of working with some very talented artists.

    As all of you know, keeping up with asks can be a bit of a headache, but I think I’ve responded to everybody that got up with me via Tumblr.  If you wrote to me and have not heard back, please yell at me.  You can also get ahold of me via Twitter @jrome58.

     Also, the call is by no means closed.  I am still working on the stories and will have a lot of considering to do before my editor and I decide exactly who we’re going with.  So…if you are an artist, female, and interested in being part of this project, let me know!  We are looking both for sequential artists (drawing comics with panels) and pinup artists (drawing a single awesome image).  So even if comics is not your specialty, but you love Princeless, there is room for you.

     Finally, there is of course going to have to be a cut-off.  Printing and distributing comic books takes money, as does paying artists.  However, I would like to find a way to include as many people as possible in this.  I’m considering doing something that’s more of an event.  I’m thinking either we could try and do a digital supplement of art that doesn’t make it into the book or fanart OR having a day where everybody posts their Princeless related art and I can link it all up through the Princeless tumblr and my twitter and Action Lab’s facebook page.  If you have an idea about this, let me know.  I’m open to suggestion.

    So, even if you don’t feel like submitting anything to me, let’s get working on that Princeless fan art.  I’d love to make you part of the community.
