PRINCELESS: SAVE YOURSELF
It’s finally coming!
Later this month, you will finally get more Princeless with the release of Princeless: Short Stories for Warrior Women #1.
Our first short story featured will be illustrated by Nancy King, whose work on the book has already garnered some high praise in early reviews (all of it deserved)!  Nancy’s story follows a young Adrienne and Devin on an early adventure that brings them face to face with something locked away in the castle dungeon.  Will they survive?  Of course they will, they’re older in the main story.  Don’t be silly!
Above are some of Nancy’s early sketches for the characters, just to give you an idea of where a great comic starts off.

Here, have a free preview of Princeless: Short Stories for Warrior Women #1.  It will make your night better.

Hey folks!

Time’s almost up to order the new “Princeless:  Short Stories for Warrior Women”!  There’s less than a week for your retailers to get their orders into Diamond so they can get your orders into us!  At this point it looks like it may be on pace to be the highest selling single issue order for Action Lab so far!  So let’s make those numbers really sing.

While you’re there, you can also order issue 1 of my new series “The Order of Dagonet”.  It’s a very different book from Princeless and not for all ages, but if you enjoy my sense of humor, I think you’ll dig this one as well.

It’s Monday again everybody!  Now, time for new Princeless art!

This week’s entry comes from Ms Nancy King who presents you with the a display of what it takes to make a complete comic book page.  You’ve seen the  pencils for page 1, but here are some things you haven’t seen.

The Thing in the Dungeon - Page 1 Pencils
Now that you’ve been introduced to all four of our artists for the short story collection, I wanted to share some of the fantastic art I’m seeing, because I can’t allow myself to be the only one who sees this for the next several months.
So, since we’ve hit 275 followers, I’m going to start releasing new art from either Princeless Vol 2 or the Princeless Short Story Collection for every 25 followers we gain.  Deal?  Now go recruit!
The first release is the inks from the first page you saw of this collection, drawn by Nancy King.  It’s fantastic to see the page start to come together eh?
So, hitting 300 will get you more work from Jules Rivera, which can only mean more Bedelia Smith!

I like you people!  You made me have to dig up these pencils from my email while I was still at work instead of waiting till I got home.  Here are the page 1 pencils for
The Thing in the Dungeon, illustrated by Nancy King
This page features a mysterious shadow and a glimpse of our intrepid young heroine.  By the way, if we continue to push the follower cound I have a lot more to show you.  We’ve got inks, colors, and final illustration on this page and a few more pages I might be convinced to share.
We’re currently at 250, let’s see about hitting 275 for the next bonus!

Now, the first of our four short stories for this collection is going to take place in the same time as those beloved first few pages of Princeless #1.  We’ll be following the adventures of Young Adrienne and Young Devin as they come face to face with:
THE THING IN THE DUNGEON
This story will be illustrated by the amazing Ms. Nancy King.  Above you can see some of her early concepts for the younger characters.  Nancy’s work has a really impressive bright and almost storybooky quality, which I love.  Please, do show her some love and check her out in other places:
