So, now for the fourth and final of our short stories. This one is a story that I never intended to write and is a sequel to a story that was never meant to be anything but a one off joke. However, when it came as a backup to issue 1 of Princeless, I got huge amounts of love and positive feedback for the story. So here it is:
THE RUNAWAY PRINCE
Yes, Prince Wilcome, the man raised to be charming and subsequently rejected and humiliated by Adrienne and Sparky is back in his own short story. Now that he’s locked away in the King’s dungeon, he must break out. Charm school never taught him how to do that, so he’s going to need a little bit of help. However, the form that help takes will be something he never expected an a real charming prince would never abide.
The Runaway Prince will be taken on by Ms Kelly Lawrence, colorist for volume 2 of Princeless and fantastic sequential artist in her own right. Kelly is a good friend and right hand woman of new series artist Emily C Martin and I was so impressed with her chops I had to ask her aboard for this short. Here she’s giving us a special treat as we get a sneak peak of a new character!
