Sparky the Dragon
Picks her teeth with the swords of swallowed princes.
Trust us, they had it coming.
Learn more about Sparky when you get caught up on Princeless on Comixology
If I were Sparky, it would still be worth the heartburn.
A gentleman recently took a long chunk of his convention day to explain to me why it is improbable and likely impossible that a single prince could kill a dragon.
This picture is for him.
Sparky the Dragon
Has an appetite for princes…not bread and sausages.
You’d better not cross her path.
Unless you’ve read up on Princeless at Comixology!
Princeless…The Camera?
Yes indeedy, ladies and gents, there is a Princeless camera out there. There’s only one and to my understanding it was sold at NYCC for charity.
Jen Vaughn created this one of a kind Sparky inspired piece with my blessing in hopes it would go to a good home. If you want one…well, I don’t know what to tell you, no more exist…
So, Jason Strutz is my artist for my other comic book “The Order of Dagonet” and while I couldn’t make it to Boston Comic Con this year I wanted to make sure a couple of supportive peeps in the area got a special thank you, so I commissioned a couple of special pieces from Jason for them. This one was for Chuck Suffel, the amazing comic reviewer who has been extremely supportive of Action Lab.

Remember When I Said…
People who have been paying close attention here and on my twitter account will remember that a short time ago I discussed doing some short stories from the Princeless world to bridge the gap between Vol 1 and Vol 2 while Emily, Kelly, and I are slaving away on Volume 2? Well, it’s happening!
I have assembled a team of four amazing up and coming female artists to rock out in the pages of Princeless. That means you (and I) are going to be lucky enough to get another helping of Adrienne, Bedelia, Sparky, Devin, King and Queen Ashe, and…by popular demand the ill fated Prince Wilcome. Over the next few days I’m going to be introducing you to and showing you some of the amazing art produced by these women. Get ready for some great works in progress and prep your favorites bar because you’re going to want to get to know these ladies a bit better.
Also, we’re going to have some pinups from a number of female artists, but you might have to wait to see those until the book is out. I haven’t decided yet. BUT…if you are a female artist and interested in doing a pinup for the Princeless short story collection, contact me and tell me where I can find your art and I’ll be glad to talk.
Now, let’s get this party started right…
*smile* thanks Comickergirl! I’ll treasure this one!
Btw, not an uncommon question. The dragon’s name is actually Sparky, though Adrienne often calls her Sparks as a nickname
Everybody ready to have your mind blown? This picture, soon to be colored, is titled “Princeless T-Shirt Pencils”. Take from that what you will.
